At RTJ Car Parts, we aim to provide quality parts and excellent customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our returns and refund policy below.
Return Period
You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- Be unused and uninstalled
- Be in the same condition as received
- Be returned with all original packaging, labels, and accessories
- Not have been modified, damaged, or altered after delivery
Incorrectly Ordered Parts
We strongly recommend that customers verify compatibility before purchasing. If you are unsure, please contact us with your vehicle registration number before ordering.
If an item is ordered incorrectly by the customer:
- The item may be returned within 30 days, provided it meets the return conditions above.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- The original outward shipping cost may be deducted from the refund amount, even where shipping was included in the sale price.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may request:
- Photographs of the item
- Details of the issue
- Vehicle information where relevant
Where a claim is approved, we will arrange a suitable resolution which may include:
- Replacement of the item
- Repair (where applicable)
- Full or partial refund
In cases where the item is confirmed to be faulty or supplied incorrectly, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Special order items
- Custom ordered parts
- Products specifically sourced at a customer's request
- Items damaged through misuse, incorrect installation, neglect, or modification
Warranty Information
Used Parts
Used parts supplied by RTJ Car Parts include a 3-month warranty from the date of delivery.
New Parts
New parts supplied by RTJ Car Parts include a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery unless otherwise stated.
Warranty Covers
The warranty covers complete product failure due to manufacturing defects or component failure under normal use.
Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect installation
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence
- Labour costs
- Diagnostic costs
- Vehicle recovery costs
- Consequential losses
Refund Process
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
